Pros

I love my job. This company truly cares about it's people. There are a lot of surveys that ask for feedback because they genuinely care about what it's employees think. The teamwork here is unreal especially because we're remote. Everyone just works together really well. Lots of promotions regularly.

Cons

If you have a family, the benefits are expensive (If it's just you on the insurance, it's under $100 per month which seems good). Communication from the top could be improved. It's a fast-paced environment.

Thank you for your feedback! I am so glad to hear that you love working at Surgical Notes! We take a lot of pride in listening to our teammates so that we can continue to grow successfully involving everyone as much as we can. In a remote environment, I think this is particularly important since we cannot just look over at your desk and see how you're doing! Over a third of our company has been promoted at least since joining Surgical Notes, so you're right, we do have a lot of promotions! We continually review our benefits and I will make not of your comment about family coverage. I also like your suggestions for advice to management and will discuss sharing these. Thank you again! If you have any other suggestions, please reach out to hr@surgicalnotes.com.

Pros

Remote work is the only pro

Cons

The micro management is awful even at the director level. The turnover is high. Pay is low. The staff is unhappy. The clients are unhappy. The systems are outdated. The employees are so overwhelmed and overworked and no one receives training.
