Pros
I worked as a seasonal sales associate and despite how insanely busy retail can be around the holidays, our team was excellent at balancing employee's needs outside of work with shifts that needed to be covered. Good employee discount, and excellent benefits if you come on full time.
Cons
It's retail - you will be tired and burnt out at a certain point, but there's no avoiding that.
