Pros
I was shocked to read the review “Typical startup abuse” The first thing that came to mind was by dear Grandmother’s adage which said to always “consider the source.” This was clearly written by an employee who signed on to do the work but was not able to hold up her end of the bargain. I worked for Sheri and SupportPay as her Executive and Personal Assistant, somedays spending 12+ hours a day with her and her family and I can tell you that I was always treated with kindness, professionalism, and respect. Sheri asked one thing of us (employees) – do what say you will do. Her motto was “don’t talk about, be about it!” She is no nonsense, but honest and fair. My hope for this disgruntled former employee is that she does a little self-reflection and owns up to the fact the problems she feels she has with Support Pay is actually a problem she has within herself.
Cons
No legitimate negatives. Everyone relies on each other in a start-up. You share success and the consequence of failure together. This you accept when you sign on.
