Love the culture and vision, struggling with internal re-orgs - Account Manager Superside Employee Review

Pros

Since joining, I’ve been genuinely impressed by how Superside differentiates itself in a saturated market. It's very different from the many agencies I’ve worked with. A prime example is the approach to AI. While my previous company spoke at length about AI upskilling without taking action, I can see Superside proactively leading the charge. Furthermore, the culture of kindness and mutual encouragement isn't just a talking point, it’s something I see practiced daily. And the WFH culture is amazing and it really works with timezones all over the world. I've been truly having more work-life-balance since I joined.

Cons

The company and its processes are in a state of constant flux. While evolution is necessary, the execution of these changes can be chaotic. If you value stability or dislike frequent changes, this environment may not be the right fit. Like I was hired for a specific role but was reassigned to the exact position I had intentionally left at my previous company, without consultation or choice. This 'move first, ask later' approach seems common here, which can make it difficult to feel a sense of agency or long-term career clarity.

Pros

Pros? I can even think of any. Terrible onboarding (piling videos to watch and assume it’s absorbed is the “process”). Team members are kind, and work so hard (especially under crazy conditions).

Cons

massive layoffs and reorganization that were executed so poorly, but yet we need to make sure we reduce churn? every client is telling us what is challenging them with our agency, and it gets buried. rollouts of new extreme processes (that are so wildly out of touch around what is currently occurring). Company wide meetings commending people for working long hours? It feels like a 15 hour work day and weekends is a norm. Terrible environment, awful executive leadership (seriously, how are they qualified to lead??), and little support.
