Pros

There are no pros to working for this company. If you are even considering it, don't do it. There is no upside in your career to work for this company.

Cons

This is a small family run operation in which the owners are unbearable They sell you on now you are a part of our family, but this is a family you don't want to be a part of. They are passive aggressive. The owners openly talk to others behind your back. They are only focused on money, not employee or guest satisfaction. The Senior owner will scream at you when he is upset. They can't keep management staff and it is a revolving door of managers.

Pros

Not one single pro while working at the corporate office. I imagine it is even worse on the property level.

Cons

SuperHost Hospitality engages in highly unethical practices from the outset. Upon joining the company, I was instructed to memorize the owner's last name and ensure their removal from financial reports. Additionally, we were compelled to cover 401K plans for the owner's family members, despite only two of them being employed. My supervisor brushed off these actions as a "gray area" legally. The company's benefits package is dismal, merging PTO, sick leave, and vacation days, with a meager accrual rate for PTO. Insurance benefits come with exorbitant deductibles. Salary ranges are non-negotiable and often fall below industry standards. High turnover is rampant, with three HR coordinators cycling through in a year and frequent changes in general managers at properties. Stability and employee respect are conspicuously absent. Management mandates on-site work, even though most corporate staff operate remotely, and those seeking accommodations are subjected to mistreatment and gossip. Despite promises to curb nepotism, the HR Director contradicted this by hiring their mother-in-law for a corporate role within weeks of the pledge. In summary, I strongly advise against seeking opportunities with SuperHost Hospitality, no matter how desperate one may be for employment.
