Pros

There are some good discounts available in retail stores and through their perks program (e.g discounted health insurance). There is free parking on site.

Cons

The head office is in an old distribution centre building (eg a shed) and is falling apart - old outdated decor, paint peeling, not much natural light if any. It is located in an industrial and boring area with nothing to offer. All staff forced to wear ill-fittng uncomfortable uniforms. Terrible, archaic culture that was unsupportive and very much 'do as you are told and don't speak unless spoken to and most definitely don't offer your opinion.' They sprout words like 'flexible, forward thinking' but in practice they are anything but. Staff happiness was never a priority. It always felt like we were treated like 17year olds working in a retail store - even though we were in HR and experienced and respected professionals. Avoid avoid avoid! They are unable to fill roles or retain staff due to their terrible reputation.

Pros

Pay isn’t too bad, work life balance isn’t too bad. Discount is surprisingly good.

Cons

Company is too tight on wages spend, but then expects every store to do lots of fitments which there is a lot of steps to even fit some wipers. They also require 2 people to do any battery test/battery fitment but that’s hard to do when you’re only given enough hours to have 3 people on the store. I believe they need to re assess there wage budget for stores, meanwhile head office have free drinks, ping pong table, foosball and there own cafe with heavily discounted coffees.
