Pros
I met a handful of highly effective and professional colleagues. These few, made the time working collaboratively, enjoyable. They have all moved on as well.
Cons
Zero business experience or acumen. No business plan. Literally, NO plan. Zero leadership or followthrough. Exorbitant levels of nepotism. High exposure to questionable ethical and legal practices. The owner 'got lucky' once when stated a few years ago and now is petulant in refusing to let his professional staff guide him. Always looking for the next 'lightening' opportunity and burning through business relationships in the process. All department leaders are VERY defensive and territorial. Will not cooperate/collaborate or lend a hand. "It's not my job" is common to hear daily. Watched 2 General Managers (they call them CEO's but they are not) get utterly 'thrown under the bus' and fired in less than 8 months. All professional staff has fled. They give 'Titles' for compinsation incentives. If you are looking I recomend avoiding any entity owned by this individual.
