Pros

Was able to work a hybrid schedule.

Cons

Hybrid schedule was great but if their Kilgore in-office people ever went looking for you and you weren't there, you would hear about it. Technology was hard for the Kilgore people to use. When things are going good, they can't simple be happy, they look for something else to cut you down on. They allow the Kilgore employees to treat the recruiters like objects instead of as people. Everything was the Talent Aqcuisitions fault even if it had nothing to do with the TA Team. The TA Team always worked in fear, we were told multiple times that we were expendable. Heading into Q3 of 2024, Summit held their Townhall meeting with everyone in the company. Mulitple questions came in about "Layoffs and if there would be any" - the CEO told everyone "No, we are doing everything possible so no one is laid off." 4 days later they eliminated a handful of positions without warning.

Pros

Leadership genuinely cared about employees, fostering a supportive culture and prioritizing people alongside business outcomes.

Cons

Change management was often challenging for leadership, with some resistance to new processes and cultural shifts. While initiatives were well‑intentioned, execution sometimes lagged due to varying levels of buy‑in across the leadership team.
