Great Company !!! A Breath Of Fresh Air !!!! - House Cleaner Summit Maids Employee Review

I have worked for Summit for over 4 months. The owner, Jacob, is a smart, friendly, conscientious person who is very easy to work for. They are also paying the highest cleaning wages I know of, especially in this area. And I also receive occasional bonuses for being on time and for customer satisfaction. Some clients also tip. I love that I work alone, and there are no uniforms. I am offered as many or as few hours as I choose. Most of the clients are nice people, and many of the repeat jobs become pretty easy. I have worked a wide spectrum of jobs over the years, including house painting, landscaping, and busy restaurants. House cleaning is so much better for my physical and mental health.

I can’t say anything bad about the company, but house cleaning in general does have some down sides. We drive quite a few miles, and unfortunately gas is at an all time high right now (May 2022). We are also responsible for maintaining insurance, buying cleaning products/vacuum cleaners. The most obvious downside is the occasional nasty job. They are few and far between though.

There are no pros, pros are finding other reputable companies to work for. The owner has a major attitude problem. All three glowing reviews seem fake. If it seems to be too good to be true it usually is.

Just don’t. Consider other reputable companies.
