Pros
- No micro-managing - Good healthcare - Flexible schedule - Good learning opportunity - Niche business clients with little-to-no competitors, so they will likely continue to grow
Cons
- Pay is consistently 20% under market average for similar jobs. - No centralized systems. Very disorganized across all levels of management with no signs of improvement. - Heavy workload for MSP side, not enough employees to assist. Likely a management improper use of resources issue. - MSP side is heavily relying on 2-3 individuals, which would outright fail if they left. - Talks about good ideas, but never implements them (or does so poorly). - If there were more competitors, they would likely lose clients. I would never want to use this business as a MSP due to SLA breaches, standing up clients on scheduled calls, and poor billing practices.
