Pros
- If you enjoy gossips this is the place, lots of gossips generating everyday from different district and outlets - Co-worker are generally enjoyable to work with totally depends on outlets - Their pay is decent it has 6 days annual leave, 2x PH pay, weekend bonus, attendance bonus, incentive from reaching sales target and there's also increment in salary $0.5-$1 but its totally depends on favoritism from Store Inspector. - Free staff meal(s) (limited to only a few options) and tap water
Cons
- The management is really strict with SOP and staff meal policies. They expect the store to be sparkling clean, but we are always understaffed. - They push employees to go above and beyond, to the point where some become physically exhausted, I heard that one of them got a slipped disc from working - There is almost a constant surveillance through CCTV, with management looking to catch employees out and issuing warning letters. - Their outlets are frequently under-staffed as management want to cut cost for paying salaries (often asking staff to go back early if sales are not meant during the day) - They continue to open new outlets, even though there aren’t enough staff to handle the daily operations at current locations. - Almost impossible to transfer outlets and guilt trip you into staying in the same outlet - The uniform policy is very strict; it must only be worn in the store, and we have to either cover it or change, including toilet breaks. (Would issue warning letters if this is not met) Observation - If sales targets aren’t met, store managers are held accountable and reprimanded.
