Pros

Small family owned business, great team spirit, super creative and bubbly atmosphere at the workplace, treated like a human being and not just an employee. Amazing place to learn a huge amount about how a business works and is made.

Cons

Since its a small business, you tend to do a lot of things that are not originally on your contract. This is a great way to learn but can also become quite tiring after a while.

Pros

Resourceful studio full of workshops The creative environment and freedom to experiment

Cons

I was hired as an intern even if I had completed my full cycle of study (Bachelor and Master) and my salary was 300 Euro per month. Despite the small salary, they demanded work until late afternoon, even for dinner time, and we would have dinner all together with the team, something that was quite oppressive and difficult to refuse. The small team was formed just by Dutch white males, very poor inclusivity. Being not Dutch myself I had a lot of difficulties communicating with them, as they would always speak in Dutch even in front of me and they have been arrogant sometimes. In the end, the perception you gain is to work hard for the glory of a design start that is internationally famous and even if you are not paid well you have to thank the Design God to have the opportunity to be there. Not recommended at all.

Pros

You 'learn by doing' in a team of designers and engineers. There were 12 projects running at the same time, some in prototype phase, others in final stage. Its always new and different and the team values any input. The working space is gorgeous and there is a free lunch.

Cons

Not too much explanation and many projects are running at the same time. So you really have to find your own way of working.
