Pros

Only pro is a decent pay and the brand value which would help you in the next job. Good to get yourself a platform but not a long term career.

Cons

If you are highly individualistic and do not care about working in teams this is the place for you. Management has no vision for you or the company, reorganizations and lay offs ever 2 year is quite common . If you have a graduate school degree you would realize that Stryker hires overqualified employees but assigns menial tasks . Mostly type A personalities fighting each other to prove themselves with hardly any empathy for fellow mates. HR hardly cares and if you are on a visa or trying to get your visa issues sorted out good luck with it. This might be a good company to set your foot in the industry but not for a long term growth.

Pros

The individual contributors you work with are fantastic people and the products we work on are really interesting and have significant impacts on patient care.

Cons

Sports Medicine has unfortunately changed from a dynamic and collaborative group to one being led by toxic leadership. Rather than working together and trusting team members, they now have an in group and out group. If you’re in the in group, you can say anything you want without being questioned and be automatically trusted even when your track record says otherwise. If you’re in the out group and your message doesn’t align with what the leadership wants to hear, then you are automatically wrong and not to be trusted.
