Pros
Stryker recruits super capable people through their Gallup processing. As such, the people that work at Stryker are usually extremely capable. This also promotes a competitive work environment.
Cons
The downside to the Gallup organization is that almost every position/task in the company becomes highly political. New recruits typically step all over each other vying to reach supervisor/manager level before one another, often at the company's/other's expense.
