Rather than working together and trusting team members, they now have an in group and out group. If you’re in the in group, you can say anything you want without being questioned and be automatically trusted even when your track record says otherwise. If you’re in the out group and your message doesn’t align with what the leadership wants to hear, then you are automatically wrong and not to be trusted.
