Pros

I've been with Strong Automotive for over a decade, and there is truly nowhere else I'd rather work. The environment is fast-paced and can be challenging, but it keeps things interesting every single day. There is never a dull moment, and there is always an opportunity to learn something new. The leadership team has everyone's best interests in mind (good benefits, pay, and PTO) and has put the company on the right path for growth and success for years to come. The company also gives back to the local community through donations and volunteer opportunities, which is incredibly refreshing to see.

Cons

Things can change quickly given the industry, but if you keep an open mind and are willing to embrace the change, you'll be just fine!

Pros

Great people! If you're in a job that you care even a little about, you'll like who you work with. Instant sense of your own impact, there's no such thing as a makework job and even "personality hires" are usually good at what their job entails Work comes in high-time-pressure, low-time-pressure intervals, so you aren't just nose against the grindstone the whole month Good individual benefits inc. 401k match

Cons

Work comes in high-time-pressure, low-time-pressure intervals, so it's easy to burn out if you aren't ok with the pacing swings. This comes with any automotive work and is not specific to Strong, but seems to sneak up on some people Management seems to either pay less attention than they perhaps should to certain department trends, or pay too much attention rather than letting the department lead set policy. There should either be more or less flexibility, but I don't know which Persistent IT infrastructure hiccups can make accomplishing tasks difficult Depending on the department and hours, you may or may not suffer from seasonal affective disorder in the winter. There are some dungeon-like offices

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and well-balanced review. We’re glad to hear that you value the people, the sense of impact, and the meaningful work. Those are core parts of our culture and especially important in automotive advertising. You’re right that automotive advertising operates in natural waves tied to client needs, promotions, and market cycles. That fast-paced, high-impact environment can be energizing, but it also requires intentional planning to prevent burnout. We continue to refine how teams prioritize work, manage peak periods, and build sustainability into the rhythm of the business. We also appreciate your candid feedback regarding leadership attention, process consistency, and infrastructure. As Strong Automotive grows, we’re actively reassessing how decisions are made, how much flexibility teams have, and how systems and technology support the work, including ongoing improvements to IT capabilities. Thank you as well for the perspective on planning for growth and evolving processes. What works at one stage of a company’s life doesn’t always scale, and feedback like this helps us continue to adapt while maintaining a strong, people-focused culture. We appreciate your contributions and your willingness to share your experience.
