Pros

Nothing. The owner Ben stays in his office all day while his workers work 12+ hours and make only comission, no hourly pay ! This is slavery ! To make it worse you get a W2 form instead of regular tax forms, so imagine how you’re gonna be filling taxes and how much you’re gonna pay ..

Cons

No hourly wage. Have to work from 8am-8pm or later. In order to make money you must sell services or you just wasted your time that day. They pay you 10 days after the service you sold is installed ! So if you sell a service today and they install it tomorrow, you’d get payed 10 days from tomorrow ! It’s insane!!

Thanks for the review. We appreciate all feedback, and try to take it on board. We are sorry that you felt offended by the fact that our CEO works in an office. That is something that would be very difficult for us to do anything about. Although our CEO does indeed spend a large proportion of his time in his office, he also runs daily staff meetings, as well as one-on-one training sessions and progress meetings with every single person at our company. That is something that is perhaps a little less standard practice. No-one at our company works 12+ hours a day, but as you would know from working with us, our management team is always the first to arrive in the office, and the last to leave, so even if we did expect those hours (which we do not), we would never ask our marketers or sales staff to work harder than we do. We understand that you feel that having two interviews is unnecessary, but you personally had two interviews and still felt that you did not understand the job before accepting it. We want to make sure that every applicant fully understands and is excited about the position before they decide to work with us, and by your own admission, the length of the interview process we have now may not even be enough. We're always tweaking and reviewing our hiring process, and we hope that we will get better at it in future.

Pros

Great culture and people really seem to enjoy working here. Only work here if you enjoy approaching uninterested people and getting denied 200+ times a day.

Cons

Long story short , the job is getting people to sign up with Xfinity. Everyday you meet at the office and then go into the "Field", which is either a Best Buy, Walmart, or MOA. You then stand for 9 hours a day, 6 days a week and ask customers who do not want to be bothered at these locations if they will switch to Xfinity. If you are a college graduate, in my opinion you are way overqualified for this job. You receive no formal training, you are put in the field and learn from a corporate trainer right after being hired.

In order to create brand awareness for our client, it is necessary that we go where their customers are. This means our event locations are in high footfall areas that our clients advise us on, our clients rely on us to help share their products with their consumers through direct marketing and customer acquisition, we encourage candidates to keep an open mind regarding marketing roles, as the term is so broad. Our roles are not only for graduates at all, however, they are commonly suited for those that are looking to become entrepreneurs with a great work ethic and commitment and graduates usually fall under this bracket. Our clients rely on us to manage their brands so proving yourself and your ability isn’t for the less motivated. Our client is excelling within its industry, they are recognized worldwide and we are honored to help them share their message with their customers. Using the most personable approach and systems, which include talking to customers on a face to face basis, we are proud of our success rate and the growth potential that we offer our client and also our team who train with us. The second round interview consists of a full day shadowing a trainer on the job purely to avoid any surprises, as you mentioned. We want candidates to see as much as they can before deciding to join us or not, we wouldn't want anybody to commit to something they have not experienced yet, this interview technique works well for us for this reason. This is also optional and you can leave at any point. As a firm who are passionate about face to face communication, we could never see our personable approach to marketing as a negative thing, however, we do appreciate that this role is not everybody's cup of tea and that's ok.
