Pros

- Working amongst a community of like-minded peers who generally share some of the same interests (sports), and are all passionate about building an awesome product that we all use on a daily basis - Very positive culture. I've observed an overall positivity that permeates throughout the entire company - Helpful peers and teammates: a culture of people helping each other, being friendly, and getting sh** done - Awesome leadership- they are always clearly communicating company goals, progress, and key events. Additionally, they have superb personal and business values that they distill down throughout the entire company - Very inclusive place to work - Best benefits/perks package of anywhere I've ever worked (and I've worked at some of the big tech companies), plus competitive compensation - The opportunity to work on a product and projects I'm really passionate about: sports and fitness! - Great work-life balance - I am challenged at work, but not pushed too far, and have the support I need

Cons

They won't 100% match a Google or Amazon in terms of base pay. But for me, they got close enough that I was more than willing to accept earning a little bit less money to love my job and be happy instead of miserable 8 hours a day :)

Pros

The main pros are that there are actually some really brilliant people who work here. They are intelligent, funny, and have an actual clear vision of how things should be done to deliver a great product to users.

Cons

The cons are that leadership only believes in and genuinely elevates white male voices. Sure, there are ERGs and prominent people of color at the company. But the real decisionmaking power is made by a combination of certain "golden boys" and their buddy, Claude. The ones driving the ship actually lack critical thinking skills.
