Pros

Flexible arrangements, work from home access, decent number of vacation days, looks good on a resume (great starting point).

Cons

Low starting salary (non-negotiable). Long hours (overtime is implied), have to work on most holidays, outdated software. Extremely stressful at times (have to handle many different processes, crucial deadlines, and resolve frequent issues that arrive). Large amount of individuals hired are inexperienced/not educated for positions, while others have been there for years with no true purpose. There is no true explanation to what you're doing, you have to teach and figure it out yourself. Extremely high rate of turnover due to environment/processes. Consistently hear about jobs being off-shored.

Pros

They offer resources for learning.

Cons

In my previous roles I've never felt burnout but with this one is the first I was feeling crush. I don't think managers take time to structure the tasks on a 8hrs or 10hrs per day. There are a lot of unrealistic expectations, no work-life balance at all. Even if you made the sacrifice to stay late, you will not be done with the work for the day.
