Pros
They are starting to become extremely forward thinking despite their typically risk averse nature. They also provide some decent benefits, like a pension plan and a employee park with free putt putt, water park, and a bunch more.
Cons
Lower end of the pay scale comparatively; as a working professional I make 1/2 what an intern does at Google or Microsoft. Too much politics involved in hiring, not enough skill review, and lots of "pass the trash". The managers who are innovative and don't seem to get a fare shake and are treated as if they don't understand or have their heads in the cloud.
