The people who work within the organization are dedicated to a common mission of equity. Shared leadership and professional learning are encouraged and supported.

The major funding sources are connected to state agencies and in an era of a tight state budget, the funding is a challenge. The organization is growing in its diversification of funding sources but is not there yet.
