Pros
Every employee starts with 4 weeks paid vacation, Plus 5 paid holidays. After 3 years you get an additional week. So overall 6 weeks paid time off? Tough to beat... Not sure how some people list 6 days of vacation? Sure they pro-rate it so if you start in late August you dont get 4 weeks... Good people, all smiles. Lots and lots of people contribute to the hearing foundation and get to go on mission trips! Life changing expereince working next to Mr and Mrs Austin fitting hearing aids in the sweltering heat when they could be relaxing on a yacht instead of busting their butts to make the world a better place - tough to argue anything different when you witness their effort on your own. They do weekly drawings for Twins tickets, Vikings tickets, timberwolves tickets... They have bi monthly activities for all employees, breakfast with Santa, Halloween events, family extravaganzas, 5K's, carriage rides...
Cons
You have to wait 90 days for benefits to kick in... There is this unspoken bond between lots of people that makes it a political environment to get noticed. Now this is not that different from other companies as this is not my first rodeo, but something stick out about the significance of this one.
