This company exploits, manipulates and takes advantage of the very same people they claim to be supporting. The CEO is notorious and company garners very little respect within the culinary world. Disingenuous and outright false claims are shared with prospective hires, sponsors, chefs and hotels in order to lure them in. The “magazine” has ZERO readership/ circulation. It is only handed out for free by StarChefs staff. Almost all web traffic is accidental. There is horrendous leadership and organization at the management level that permeates throughout the company, leaving all employees stressed, overworked, forced to meet unrealistic expectations and turn out mediocre product. Company culture coming directly from the CEO is abusive, explosive and over-the-top inappropriate, leading to incredibly high turnover.
