Clear focus on Asia Africa and middle east markets Over all product offering and capability is just as good if not better than most top tier banks Often compared to HSBC, much smaller bank, but better global capabilities Good risk management

Limited presence in the US The bank's strategy can get in the way of good business, ie the bank may turn away business that does not have an large international component Internal politics can be very active Bank has a lower profile in the US
