Pros

My manager genuinely tried to be supportive and most of the people were great.

Cons

I left a stable role for what seemed like an exciting opportunity at Stampli. During the interview process, I was told reps were doing well, quotas were attainable, and there was big earning potential. I asked thoughtful questions and did my due diligence but once I joined, it was obvious the story I was sold didn’t match reality. The truth: reps were consistently underperforming, there were far too many AEs chasing limited business, and Stampli lacked the tools and structure to support outbound success. Instead of focusing on practical sales enablement, leadership leaned into buzzwords — especially AI — without any real execution behind it. The most frustrating part was how my resignation was handled. I submitted a professional two week notice, only to be immediately terminated and denied a payout for that time. That left me without income before my next job began. HR was cold, unresponsive, and made no effort to treat the situation respectfully. The entire experience felt dismissive and left a bad taste. It was very unprofessional and sketchy. Bottom line: Stampli looks great on the surface, but underneath there are serious issues, from lack of transparency and poor support to questionable handling of employee exits. I wouldn’t recommend walking away from a good job for this one. It’s not worth the risk. Something feels off there.

Pros

Smart, driven people overall and generally fun to work with. There was meaningful ownership early on and solid visibility into how decisions got made, which made it a good place to learn. The product was strong and kept improving, and it showed in customer retention and ARR. Leadership was fairly accessible, though it varied by team. If you were proactive, you could make an impact quickly, but you had to advocate for yourself. Growth opportunities existed, just not always clearly defined or consistent.

Cons

Unclear priorities at times and not everything is fully built out yet in terms of processes. Communication across teams isn’t always consistent, and that can slow things down. It can also get intense during busy periods. The commute can also be difficult.

Pros

Stampli truly gives you the ability to set your own course forward - be that as a recent college grad who is trying to get into the sales game, or someone with experience with interest in Project Management and/or Customer Success. The office environment is unlike any other I've been in - very energetic, fun, and competitive. Knowing that what we do directly affects our customers in regards to their accounting and AP processes is exciting! Our platform and products impact our customers' daily lives, simplifying their day-to-day processes. Our Customer Success team, which includes Customer Support, Customer Success Management (i.e. Project Management), and Professional Services (i.e. Implementation & Technical Support) honestly focuses on teamwork and partnership. Open and Honest conversations are ALWAYS welcomed, and positive impacts come out of those. Teamwork and togetherness is a focus - whether that's inside of the walls, or outside at events like TopGolf or a Happy Hour at Tailgate Brewery. The company proves a fully-stocked lunchroom, with coffee, Cokes, chips, bagels, and a multitude of other snacks at the ready to keep you going.

Cons

Timezones - since the company is a world-wide organization, scheduling internal meetings can be tricky.
