Pros
A paycheck, living in Central Oregon
Cons
Management rules by intimidation and manipulation techniques. “Do as I say, not as I do” approach when Managers don’t even know what job their employees do. They have no idea what they even hire people for under them and expect current employees to train them. New management changes scheduled work days and hours without consideration for the current employees or departmental needs. Workers are under paid and receive no compensation close to their worth or ability. Competent employees are fired for standing up for themselves while ignorant, unskilled employees remain and allow themselves to be herded like cattle and trained as circus monkeys because they won’t “rock the boat” or question the management’s tactics. Applicants with experience receive base compensation and unskilled, inexperienced applicants are offered higher compensation for lower competence but higher ability to be manipulated. Expected behavior and performance is instilled by threat of job security, demotion, manipulation, intimidation, degradation, and insult. HR, UNUM and CAP support management and not employees rights or consideration.
