Pros
A constant influx of new clients and a fairly steady turnover in staff ensures an ever-changing work environment. The faces never stay the same for very long. The inn is located in rural Vermont, a 10-minute drive from the tiny capital city of Montpelier. If you like the outdoors, you will like the environment.
Cons
There are no promotions from within. Where you are hired is where you stay. The pay level is mediocre. A graduate degree helps, but not much. Changes to programs and procedures occur at a glacial pace. Although the overall track record is nothing special, this is not the place for new ideas or innovations of any substance. If it worked somewhere else and is accepted industry practice, it will be used here. Anything else, forget it.
