Pros

Great facilities, well-equipped gym, decent pay if you can negotiate your hourly rate.

Cons

Very hierarchical, extremely high turnover rate, management calls tennis pros 'automatrons' for good reasons. No advancement hopes for women no matter how good of a coach you are. Disregard for core benefits - hard to afford health insurance, no paid time leave, disregard for pros time or status as a human being.

Pros

Supportive Leadership: My direct supervisor was incredibly kind and helpful. She was always there to guide me through new workflows and genuinely cared about my success. Company Culture: The atmosphere is very positive. I really enjoyed the Monday morning meetings and the general camaraderie among the staff. Unique Perks: The benefits are a major plus—having the flexibility for coffee/snack breaks and the opportunity to play pickleball with the team made the workday much more enjoyable. Fair Compensation: The wages are competitive and satisfactory for the industry.

Cons

Limited Growth Paths: At the time, there weren't many clear avenues for transitioning into long-term, full-time career roles within my specific department.

Pros

- Community atmosphere You’ll likely see the same players, parents, and coaches daily — it can feel familiar and relationship-based. - Lighter physical demand (mostly) Less running around than retail stockrooms or long hours on your feet styling clients. - Exposure to athletics & wellness culture If you enjoy being around movement, discipline, and performance environments, this can be motivating.

Cons

-Competitive sports environments can bring strong personalities. -Unless you move into operations or management, growth paths may be narrow.
