Pros

Met a few decent people

Cons

This has been the most difficult company I’ve worked for. Many employees are either leaving or actively looking to leave, largely due to poor and often toxic management. There have been instances of colleagues being mistreated and even bullied, with little to no accountability from those in charge. Unfortunately, HR is known for being unsupportive and at times even hostile—if you're not part of their inner circle, you may find yourself targeted or dismissed without clear justification. While there are still some great people working here, the company has changed significantly for the worse over the past few years. The leadership appears focused solely on profits, with little regard for employee wellbeing, fair compensation, or realistic expectations. Pay is widely considered subpar, and the pressure placed on staff is often unreasonable. To make matters worse, employees are encouraged(= you don’t have a choice) to leave glowing reviews that don’t reflect their real experiences so most reviews here are fake. A truly positive workplace wouldn’t need to request 5-star reviews—those would come naturally. We are afraid to speak as we know we will be targeted.

Pros

Working from home is the only one that I can think of.

Cons

This has been a dissapointing place to work unfortunately. Even if you work really hard, no one really recognizes it - they might give you a low value coupon very rarely if you perform “well” (according to the HR who obviously given the coupons to the people who they are friends with). Myself and a lot of others think it’s a joke. The HR people, especially the people who had been there a long time should know how to do their job better, they never give clear answers, they always try to use against you anything that you say and they don’t know how to run the place…be careful. If you want to join this company, just do for a few months until you find something better. The SALARY is a JOKE and the salary yearly increase is 3-4%. When you are getting paid so little, 3-4% is insulting. A lot of people who I speak with want to leave soon and this is due to the lack of progression, low pay, the way HR controls everything terribly and the toxic environment.

Pros

I met some amazing people here; and working here was a good experience. Working remotely was a big positive since salary was low and I was the only person with a job in my family. Meeting Jonny and Joe; the CFO and Finance Manager was a breath of fresh air; even though we disagreed on most things.

Cons

There was very little opportunity for growth for me; although I asked for it and worked for it; I eventually grew disappointed because there was nothing I could do to go up the ladder. Initially I thought it was a matter of time but people in different sectors of the business advised me to run away because I would never receive gratitude for my hard work. Unfortunately; me and my family were close to being made homeless and when I asked for a promotion due to my hard work; I was mocked. No one really cared about my situation as much as they wanted the job done. Thankfully; God has his ways and I found massive success in creating my own businesses.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at SportPursuit. It's brilliant to hear that you met some amazing people and enjoyed the remote working aspect of your time here. We also appreciate your positive comments about Jonny and Joe. We understand your disappointment regarding the perceived lack of growth opportunities. We are committed to providing development pathways for our team members and continuously work to improve these opportunities. While we acknowledge your feeling that you weren't able to progress, we disagree with the sentiment that no one cared. We strive to support all our employees and regret that you felt your situation was not understood. We are constantly reviewing our internal processes to ensure we are providing clear career development pathways for all our team members, which has been a huge success over the past few years. We are pleased to hear that you have found success in your own business ventures, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
