They work at the fast pace that is essential in our ever-evolving world of marketing. They're nice, direct and seek the latest in technology and ideas for the best way to impact and engage consumers, whether they are external or internal.

I wish I were able to collaborate with them more face to face, however, this has allowed me to work according to my own set hours.

I've worked with Sponge on a rolling basis since 2017 and have witnessed the agency evolve toward a very nimble and aggressively entrepreneurial model. Pros: 1. The work is fast-paced. 2. There are no heavy layers of approval, you work directly with the founder. 3. There is great receptivity to your creative point of view, so if you're comfortable with being a leader vs. follower you'll like it 4. There's a real competitive streak and the spirit of bringing an 'A' game on par with much bigger shops. 5. Creative strategy is highly valued here. 6. The team is super friendly and respectful. 7. Sponge is very prompt to reimburse -- looking at you, big slow agencies.

Look, if you're the type who likes to contribute to and shape projects vs being dictated to, you'll enjoy working here. If you prefer to just show up and get your marching orders in the traditional agency sense, then a start-up 'go-get-it' atmosphere is not for you.
