-No opportunity for advancement
-Low Pay
-Senior staff is comprised of low skill ex-pharma workers
-Staff and upper management are not well versed in the literature/advancments of their field.
-High turnover
-All talented employees leave and take their knowledge base with them. If you're smart you'll do the same.
-Chemical instrumentation is a joke. No FTIR or chromatography of any kind...except for old TLC plates that no one knows how to use....
-Company is very secretive about things that are openly available in the literature...like their dyes and particle synthesis.
-Despite promises to build a research division there are no plans or rewards for putting in the extra effort dedicated to developing new products.
Really this is pretty poor company to work at. You wont get good experience because the product is so niche and they lack most of the main stream chemical equipment used by the rest of the chemical industry. If you are not desperate for a job I don't recommend working here.
