Pros

You're always busy with something, so the days tend to fly by unless it's a slow day (there aren't many of those). Point-of-Sale system is easy to use and figure out for anyone who knows how to use a touchscreen. Computer courses that help ease you into the job.

Cons

You don't get a break or lunch unless you can fit it in between customers (there is no clocking out until you're done). The amount of tasks that must be done each day require a minimum of 8 people throughout the day in larger stores (Store Manager, Co-Manager, Shift Manager, and five CSR). If you can't keep up with multiple tasks and also help customers, always striving to keep the customer as your biggest priority, you will be VERY stressed in this job.

Cons

Company expects more and more without proper compensation. 7-11 is closing them down slowly.
