Pros

Amazing place to learn. Close-knit team of friendly and passionate PR professionals that will actually take the time to guide you through the internship experience and teach you as much as you are willing to take. Being a small place you also get a lot of hands-on experience, doing work that only senior staff would do at other companies.

Cons

None that I can think of. Some people would complain about the type of clients, but I actually like the client work a lot. It requires a profound understanding of a highly specialized field and the ability to write in a technical language. Great experience.

Pros

Working at Spector was an amazing experience for many reasons. First off, the environment is collaborative and open where anyone can speak, ask questions and provide insights at any moment. Opinions are highly valued and team work is strong in the office. Everyone brings something to the table in terms of a unique skill-set to create a balance to succeed. Spector teaches interns how to think for themselves and make sure they have all the answers before handing something in. Self-motivated people will excel in this environment. The smaller scale firm allows interns to take on more involved projects and really get a feel for working in PR. The best thing about Spector is that it is extremely outcome based as a company and as an internship program. I left with unforgettable work samples and project outcomes I could be proud of. If you are willing to work hard and get everything out of an internship, you will excel at Spector.

Cons

The client list is very tech advanced and the topics discussed are slightly hard to grasp, but management makes it easy to learn and makes sure everyone has a job they can handle.
