Pros
coworkers are pretty great, my current team leader is awesome
Cons
everything else, get treated horribly by the people in the offices, one chick literally records you on her phone from the upstairs window, managers and supervisors have no backbone and won’t stand up for the floor staff, they don’t care if you’re injured they’ll still try and make you work outside what the restrictions are, management and offices workers have no idea what they’re doing and will blame the floor workers for any mistakes the office makes, not even allowed to have the radio unless we hit an unreasonable target, get yelled at if we’re not working flat out but they refuse to except the fact that we don’t have glass or metal to use to make windows or doors because they won’t fix the problems that are causing us to not have the glass or metal. Our toilet breaks even get monitored. Never know if you have sick leave and they make it difficult to find out, never get told if annual leave is approved or not, the lazy employees get overlooked while the hard workers get run into the ground, office people try and tell you how to do your job without actually knowing how to do your job. If you’re working the factory floor expect to get treated like you’re dirt on the bottom of a boot honestly.
