Pros
Initially when I joined the team at Source Medical, the staff and coworkers were very friendly. There is a strong family bond with certain team members. It's a fun environment at times with many activities that keep the morale and camaraderie up. I was able to step up as a leader within three months of employment with it being such a small company. The customers love or hate SM and they can be very loyal and compassionate. A perk of working for the company was the fitness program. The company pays up to 30 dollars a month for your gym membership. They offered a great benefits package that began on the first day of employment; it's one of the best benefits packages around.
Cons
Although my co-workers were great, the management team at Source Medical made horrible decisions my entire year there. When I started, they were incredibly understaffed due to a high turnover rate. The two other employees that began with me are no longer there as well. The training program is undeveloped and the manager of my department was always in meetings and completely overwhelmed with responsibilities. At times it felt as if we had no manager. Most processes of support are made by the team itself. The software has a ton of issues on a daily basis and there were many days when there were 15 callers waiting with only 4 representatives to troubleshoot there issues.
