Pros
Everyone here wants you to be successful and there's plenty room for growth especially if you are a good salesman. Atmosphere can be fun.
Cons
There's a high turnover rate for this job. I have seen people come in and leave the first day because yes, it's technically door to door job selling Verizon. You have to use your own car, and you pay for your own gas, and the worst part is your assigned territory which is the low-income Philadelphia neighbors. You really don't need a four-year degree to do this job and the job itself doesn't teach you any valuable skills beside knocking on other neighbors door and perfecting your sales pitch. Although this is a sales job, but unfortunately if you didn't reach the management level, this job does not make you more valuable candidate for your next job search even if you are planning to pursue a sales career.
