Pros

decent hourly pay rate plenty of hours available to the preferred interpreters [meaning you are center managers friend or pet]

Cons

total lack of regard for interpreter quality...no one checks and no management cares about deaf complaints about interpreters firing dozens of RID certified interpreters and hiring uncertified interpreters only because they are cheaper having to sign up for bathroom breaks! god forbid you need to use the bathroom too long or too often. we are robots! total obsession with every minute an interpreter is working. if the billing clock isn't running, then an interpreter is a problem for the company. make interpreters feel like machines. don't care at all about repetitive motion injury. no health benefits either! the clock! the clock! everything is about the clock! don't breathe in between calls! hurry up answer! ridiculous management directives. every week we had a new policy and procedure and god forbid if we had any questions or didn't follow it immediately. made interpreters feel like factory parts. not people. am glad that i am no longer there and I feel sorry for the interpreters still there! take care of yourselves! sorenson won't...
