Excellent Technology, hardworking and extremely talented and motivated Engineering team in Japan, eager to support development for new business. Opportunity to visit a wonderful country and cultural lifestyle. Opportunity to have a reasonable work life balance.
Cons
As Sony in US is a satellite to the main decision making, there is little decision making locally. The main management team will not trust the drive and local talent to act autonomously. No real chance of promotion as there is no local decision making in the business areas that are driven by Japan.
