Pros

The management team is competent and cares, for the most part. We are a growing and evolving company, with lots of potential. As a newer integration company, we don't have all the baggage of an "old school" legacy integrator. The people on our team really care about what we do. We are financially sound and have good buying power with the different vendors.

Cons

The voice of the employees needs to be heard more clearly. As employees we want to grow, be appreciated, and work hard for our company. We want opportunities for internal growth and advancement. I would like my manager to sit down with me and do some career path planning. I like being an Engineer, but don't want to be one forever. I don't want to find out about a growth opportunity by looking at a website. I want my manager to let all their employees know of a potential opening. I want the company to believe in me, as much as I believe in it. I want to know that I'm appreciated. This isn't just with a "job well done" or the occasional "atta-boy", it's about truly valuing me as an employee in a demonstrable way. Send me to a class, let me attend a tradeshow, invest in me and let me represent our company. Treat me like an adult, like a competent professional that you pay me to be. Empower me to do my job. A an employee who cares, I want to work hard for our company. Solutionz is pushing to create a culture where we are only trusted to work from the office. We design, engineer, and sell $1m projects for a living, but I can't be trusted to be productive from home one day a week? This sends a clear message to employees that we aren't trusted and that we are not appreciated. I don't believe that this is the message Solutionz wants to convey, but it's happening. When I work from home I'm 2x as productive as in the office. My distractions are minimal and my output is high. I start early and finish late, and I don't have to contend with the commute. This is a win for me and for the company. Our competition, who are recruiting very heavily right now, are offering this simple benefit and it's make us good employees consider the alternative.

Pros

Hard working but feels like a family. Great support and collaboration. Never feel like you are alone in your efforts. With my 16 years at Solutionz, I can confirm this company is one you'll love and want to stay for decades. Very rare! They really do care about the individual.

Cons

It's honestly hard to think of a Con. I've thought about it for a while and truly can't come up with one. Management is great, benefits are great. If I had to pick one, it applies to all companies. That would be regarding processes and consistency across departments, however, that continuously improves. In recent months, streamlining efforts have advanced rapidly.

Pros

This review is being written to establish transparency and will therefore focus on the cons.

Cons

Disrespectful, unethical management whose conduct consistently crossed professional and personal boundaries. Over time, this behavior created an environment that felt unsafe, degrading, and deliberately manipulative. Behavior became sexually suggestive in ways that made me uncomfortable. In addition, raised voices and aggressive tones were a frequent occurrence, including in situations with no legitimate work-related reason to do so. These interactions made me feel physically unsafe at work, and were not an isolated incident, but a pattern. I was regularly put down, sometimes in meetings with the broader team. Concerns were dismissed or disregarded outright, as were contributions. Mistakes were exaggerated and treated as defining, rather than handled proportionately or constructively. The way they chose to part ways was both dishonest and needlessly harmful. For several months, I was directly lied to about my standing at the company. A posting was put up for my position, after which I was told that they were working on getting a new office. Over the following months, a performance case was deliberately assembled and used as the basis for my termination. This removed any possibility of good-faith communication or improvement. Passive aggressive and disengaged management style created avoidable failures - either by failing to participate when involvement was required or by pushing back on reasonable requests for support. The job became significantly more difficult than it needed to be and problems were created that were then blamed on others. Additionally, direct attacks were made on my character and intelligence that had nothing to do with the actual work. These comments went beyond performance feedback and into personal denigration. The company is not a respected name, which made it harder to find an opportunity elsewhere and required significant amounts of preparation to secure a new role. Would strongly caution anyone who values psychological safety, honesty, and professional respect to think carefully before working at this company.
