Pros
Prior to one of their many company acquisitions, the company I worked for had a positive work environment. There were flaws of course, but nowhere near the issues after being acquired. Before the acquisition, there was: great synergy between departments, clear communication from the ELT and transparency, employee morale was above average, and a decent work/life balance. All of the things listed are now gone. I will say that after the acquisition, camaraderie was strong as everyone was wondering what is happening behind the scenes and left in the dark.
Cons
It's a shame and quite sad to list out all of the cons experienced after the acquisition. I will suggest prospective (and current employees) folks to look at the negative reviews - they speak the truth. It is worth highlighting that most business units are extremely overworked and understaffed. There is virtually no information or strategy being relayed to employees from the ELT/C-Level (unless you have VP/director that is sharing the little information provided to them). We went from having leadership that was transparent to leadership that provides little. Definitely need to update the salaries.
