Pros

Growth: In my experience, there is fantastic room for growth. If you show the company loyalty and dedication, they show you the same. People: In my two years here I've crossed paths with roughly several hundred people in the company. All have been kind, respectful and helpful; many have become friends; and some have become active mentors. When an issue or question comes up, there's a long list of people I could reach out to and have more than enough support. Despite a virtual environment, people make an effort to keep up with each other's lives both in and out of the workplace. Education: For people new to Software AG's solution areas, there are ample resources available to get trained up on our products. For example, I came into Software AG with a fresh humanities degree and had never even heard the phrase "digital transformation." Now I can comfortably have conversations related to all of our solutions. Commitment: I started as an intern fresh out of college with very little experience in the field. After ~1 year I started contracting and after about another year, the company created a position on my team so that I could work as a full-time employee. I've been lucky enough to have a really strong level of trust and respect built with my team which in itself is the reason I've chosen Software AG and will continue to do so.

Cons

We prioritize innovation (not a con, of course) and with this comes new processes, systems, teams, etc. Things change frequently (at least on my side of the org) and we're asked to adapt to them. It's clear that many teams are dedicated to communicating changes and supporting the required adaption, but still misalignment does arise. This is a natural process, but can make for some difficult situations with confusing paths forward.
