They have been promising us raises for over a year now. For a while, it was "in 60-90 days" but it has graduated to "were working on it". I think I've forgotten how to feel joy and happiness. I am miserable here. Our department does everyone else's job and gets jack for it. It would be one thing if it was rare, but every day we are asked to do customer service and sales. We're paid pittances, chump change, basically nada, despite being capable technical professionals proven by the fact that we survived having absolutely no technical documentation for half of the technologies we use. And that's another thing, technical documentation is regularly out of date. I have seen multiple company documents that reference windows 95/XP. We're not even technically a local small business anymore, just a subsidiary of some big tech giant. Every single person in my department, and the other technical support department is actively looking for a better job. DO NOT WORK HERE. It will steal your soul
