Pros
I started at Social Sentinel as an intern while still in college, and was brought on full time after graduation. I've always found this to be a highly supportive and welcoming environment. There is so much opportunity here if you're passionate about your work and are willing to take initiative. I've been able to learn so much from collaborating with different teams across the company (data science, engineering, linguistics, project management, etc.) to learn new skills, and find projects that I'm passionate about.
Speaking as a former intern and current full time employee, it's been a privilege to work with such a motivated, experienced team of professionals striving to keep our communities safe. I'd absolutely recommend working here!
Cons
As a multi-tasker I personally don't view this as a negative, but as a small/medium sized startup, prepare to collaborate with several different teams on a variety of projects and be ready to 'pivot' at a moments notice!
