Pros
The founders (Jen & Ian) really care about putting clinical quality first and doing what they can to improve the ABA and autism care industry as a whole. They haven't figured everything out yet, but I feel really positive that they are trying to do what's best for clients and staff and are always receptive to feedback and moving in the right direction. I love being a part of Soar and I am so excited to see what they are able to do for autism care! Also, they invest a lot in their employees and create a lot of innovative lanes for advancement within the company. It's not just a straight BCBA to PC path, but there are lots of other ways to get involved in projects you're interested in and develop your career. I also love getting to work directly with speech and OT, and getting career development opportunities like ESDM certification training and live SBT training from Greg Hanley. (And yes, Hanley is every bit as amazing in person as you would expect him to be!!)
Cons
It's still a growing company, so sometimes it feels like there is a lot of change happening at once, and you have to be ready to learn and grow with the company. It's really important to be flexible and able to stay positive, and I think if you can do that, you'll really love it here!
