Great Compensation, Terrible Management - Anonymous employee SoFi Employee Review

Management constantly battling between Helena, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. Flat organizational tree makes it impossible to deal with any issues with leadership. Constantly switching directions means you will almost never ship any product you create. CTO is wife of CEO and only other managers in engineering are three directors. No room for upward growth given that there are exactly five positions above senior engineer (three directors, CTO, CEO). Heard rumors that sofware is so buggy that they have overpaid on many loans (i.e. dispursed $50k instead of $30k), and nicely ask for the money back from people.
