Pros
Bonuses and benefits, supportive managers, diversity, LOTS of opportunities for growth (I held 3 different positions over 5 years, almost quadrupled my salary, and was being considered for another promotion when I left), emphasis on relationships, leaders that care.
Cons
After having been with three other organizations since my time at SCG, the “cons” I experienced here really pale in comparison to what’s out there. Base compensation could use some work, but the bonus structure makes up for it. As a large organization with a parent company, enterprise-wide change is sometimes slow and can create a feeling of bureaucracy. And there is a lot of diversity in the organization with the exception of the executive team. But again, after some telling experiences, I can assure you there are FAR worse things to deal with.
