Pros
- weekly happy hours - the huge holiday party is always a blast! - health benefits good - met some nice friends here - the CEO, is friendly to employees of all different departments! he is always very busy, but makes it obvious that he honestly cares about the people who work for him.
Cons
Working for this company was traumatizing. My benefits, time off, and pay didn't match my offer letter. I often overhead upper management / executives openly make fun of the customer service employees (who are definitely treated the worst of all) "oh look at you wearing a t-shirt today instead of a button up... you should go jump on the phones! hahaha". The Co-Founder would snap his fingers in the face of his assistant when asking for things. New initiatives are created frequently, but never stick because of the astonishing lack of organization for anything office life related. They only care about numbers - if it has to do with office life there is the smallest fraction of funding for events or any perks for employees. Most of the employees here complain constantly (and i mean... i get it!) and it makes the experience even worse. Every department is treated very differently and it causes a lot of people to get upset and want what they see others getting. The remote employees feel disconnected because they can attend in-office events. The customer service team works holidays, but no one else does. Some teams get unlimited PTO while others accrue it. These large differences in a not so large company causes a lot of drama. The amount of people I saw crying in the bathroom daily over their jobs was unlike anywhere I've ever worked.
