Pros
Flexible work-life policies. Family-style working relationships (both good and bad).
Cons
While some of the senior staff are truly good people and attempt to be honest and productive, this company is entrenched in a culture that inhibits employee production, growth, and unfortunately, overall satisfaction. Be careful what you sign and think strategically about your next steps when considering working for this company. Smith Johnson has a history of extreme paranoia when it comes to allowing it's employees to move on peacefully. In addition, be aware that this company does not offer the same base benefits to all employees. Know what you are agreeing to. Further, the owner will go to great lengths to convince himself of fault in employees when overall performance is down (unable to look inward) and it is very much a "gotchya" culture. Recommend extreme caution if considering working for this firm.
