Pros

- Incredibly smart team members that care and want to collaborate - Long-term "Smartlings" have a love for the way the business was built, and helped facilitate improved working relationships amongst employees during on-sites

Cons

- Management discouraged collaboration or team building outside of team channels - Management is powerful at driving revenue growth, but they don't shine when it comes to engaging and retaining their people - Growing workload with same or less support - No DEI strategy - No onboarding program - Disorganized internal communication on growth/sales initiatives

Pros

I am extremely impressed with Smartling's leadership, staff, product, and the culture that's in place. What a joy to work here!! Smartling is growing so rapidly and is the clear leader in the Translation Management System technology and LLM/AI powered translation space.

Cons

Can't think of any cons right now.

Pros

Amazing product market fit considering how AI is changing the localization world. AI is mandate for every employee at the company and leadership has given us the tools to adopt it an astronomical pace. This is not something that is micro managed and employees have full autonomy to build and present to their colleagues. Selling at Smartling means working with the biggest companies in the world. In most cases it isn't transactional but once a company sees the value Smartling brings to the table it's hard for them to choose a competitor.

Cons

Very few but managing so many projects with AI at once takes a lot of focus. I wouldn't have it any other way.
