Pros
I’ve had a really positive experience working at Smartcat, especially within the Customer Experience team. It’s an environment where you’re trusted to take ownership, make decisions, and actually shape how things work—not just follow a process.
As a Team Lead, the role has been both challenging and rewarding. The work feels meaningful, and you can clearly see the impact your team has on both customers and the business. There’s also a lot of room to grow, and bring change specially in how you think about and approach customer experience overall.
The team is definitely one of the best parts. People are collaborative, supportive, and genuinely care about doing great work. It’s not overly hierarchical, which makes it easier to move fast, share ideas, and solve problems together.
Cons
The pace is fast and priorities can shift quickly, so it definitely requires a good level of adaptability. At times, things can feel a bit unstructured, especially since the team is often building and figuring things out without a clear playbook.
